    Lloyd's is between the North Country and New York City, and as such, we stopped ther for lunch en route.  The restaurant stood out in the town we we passing through.  Lunch: clam strips and a meatball soup for my dad; roast beef on toast for me.  Dessert was pie.  beverage was coffee.

    What differentiates Lloyd's from your run-of-mill diner is that coming away from the meal we didn't feel over-fed, just well-fed. Yes, my dad's clams were a little off; but my dish was fantastic, and we both had pie which was out of this world.  

    At no other diner could one have a full meal AND dessert and NOT feel stuffed, but rather full. Lloyds accomplishes this well, and the food they serve is very tasty. I highly recommend the apple pie.

    This place leaves much to be desired. I really wanted to love this cute little place. It's cash only, which is fine, but the food was pretty expensive for what it was. Also, you only get 2 refills total for breakfast coffee or hot tea. I know most people probably only get that many anyway but I thought it was a little much for them to explicitly say that on the menu. Their breakfast selection/options were surprisingly minimal and just meh. The waitress was a little pushy as well. Disappointing experience overall.

    Really immerses you in that classic diner feel. It is a little cramped inside but the tall booths make you feel like you have more privacy which is nice. Their French toast is good and their syrup is tasty. It would be nice if they gave you free refills with soda, especially since they give you small cups. They know what they're doing!

    If you like a classic diner you will love Lloyds. Small town friendly people. Our waitress was awesome and we immediately felt at home. The food was great. If you come don't be in a hurry. The cooktop is small and they can only cook so much at time. It is so worth the enjoyable and stress free wait. Refills of your coffee and tea are right on time and often. Love this place.

    The food is OK, not bad but nothing special.  Service and atmospher are great, but the PIE?  OUT OF THIS WORLD.
